ABOUT
THE BOOK
Just
as a spark or a flash of light is seen better at night, Vermin (Darkness
Prior to Priorities) takes on similar characteristics. The subtitle: darkness,
prior to priorities, echoes the same sentiment as it refers to the opposing
elements of darkness and light.
An
artist might attempt to highlight the beauty of an object, by choosing
to surround that object with things that are more offensive, and less
attractive. Like wise, Vermin sets up each layer of the story by creating
dark situations, only to conclude with a lighter, comical payoff.
The
story revolves around a sequence of disastrous events a man endures, while
pursuing love and struggling with his own inability to set basic priorities
in his life.
Prepare
to be transported into an amazingly creative world, as you experience
situations involving love, hate friendship, betrayal, scientific mutations
and most important, issues of morality.
This
whimsical thriller hopes to have a major impact on its readers, while
offering them something new, fun and exciting.
As
the readers experience a surreal rush of adrenaline, the goal is that
they will come away more empowered than when they entered. Have fun and
enjoy the ride.
